2024/25 Header & Cover Art Competition
Submissions are open for the Frog & Flowers website header and print edition cover art until October 25, 2024. Please review our submission guidelines before proceeding to the form at the bottom of the page.
Guidelines
Submissions can but do not have to be Frog & Flowers themed, and this will not factor into judging.
Any medium is accepted, including (but not limited to): painting, digital illustration, photography, multi-media collage &c. Please list the medium(s) used to create each piece.
Please include the title of each piece and the medium(s) used to create it in the file name. For example, “Spectral Screens (ink on paper).jpeg”
Submissions should be 300 dpi and include both a landscape and portrait version.
Artists may choose to submit multiple entries. Each submission must be uploaded separately in .png, .jpg, .tiff, .heic file formats.
Prizes
One grand winner will be chosen along with three runner-ups. All other entries will receive a digital certificate of accreditation and are guaranteed publication in one of three issues in the 2024/25 season and will be interspersed throughout the final print issue. Winners will be announced at 10:30 am PST on Oct. 29th.
GRAND PRIZE
Certificate of accreditation from Mulgrave School hand-signed by Mr Craig Davis (Head of School), Dr Taryn Beukema (Senior School Faculty Sponsor), Ms Diana Ferreira (Middle School Faculty Sponsor), and our Editors-in-Chief.
One (1) box of curated artisanal snacks, teas, and home goods (valued at CAD$50).
Entry will feature on the Frog & Flowers website header for the 2024/25 season and will appear as the cover art for the year-end print edition.
Permanent artist feature on the 2024-25 Masthead.
RUNNER-UPS
Certificate of accreditation from Mulgrave School hand-signed by Dr Taryn Beukema (Senior School Faculty Sponsor), Ms Diana Ferreira (Middle School Faculty Sponsor), and our Editors-in-Chief.
Entry will feature as the cover for one of three 2024/25 The Frog & Flowers issues and appear prominently in the year-end print edition.
